ARTIST STATEMENT
Creating art during uncertain times, invigorates me to examine my inner world, a magical world. My work reflects creatures capable to transform, to become part of nature and so I enjoy the opportunity to visualise my dreams.
ABOUT THE ARTIST
Marianna Buchwald is a painter and performance artist, and also curates exhibitions and performances in Chicago, Hanover and Berlin. She is the founder and executive director of International Art Adventures.Since 2017 Ms Buchwald has organized exhibitions at Kreismuseum Syke, and in Chicago, and since 2024 with Oliva Gallery with the title The Ocean Between. Ms.Buchwald hosts art and performance salons, inviting artists to share their work at Oliva gallery and the Base cafe at the Bridgeport Art center as part of the Bridgeport Art community.
