Iranian women with their talents and abilities do not have the opportunity to flourish in their country. They have very little presence in key political and social positions and management. The result is not only ignoring women but also not seeing them as one of the two pillars of human life.
My concern as a photographer has always been to show what one does not expect to see. This limitation has two factors, one is an external factor called patriarchy and an internal factor that’s made and grown from the first factor.
All the women of my country and I stand up against this attitude which is hiding and erasing the role and effect of women in our society.
