Are we unconsciously letting our views of our ‘ideal’ selves be shaped by what mass media and society think is ‘ideal’? Should the idea of becoming ‘ideal’ only be left as an idea—outside the picture frame, separate from everything else that is real?

The narrative of this body of work is drawn from the personal experience of a girl whose everyday life, just like everybody else’s, is inundated with mass-media messages about what is an ‘ideal’ physical appearance.
