Very small works, usually less than a foot in size, are used to confirm the composition of drawings or to clarify implied messages in sculptural projects. These efforts also gauge interest in pursuing a similar image in a much larger format. Observed, minuscule, close up details have individual interest separate from the practical studio function of these small images.
