ARTIST STATEMENT
In my art I’m drawn to conceptual themes of nostalgia and finding humor and beauty in the mundane. I’m also very interested in the sensory experience of maximalism, and enjoy exploring color, texture, and patterns in my work.
ABOUT THE ARTIST
Lily Fulop is a multidisciplinary graphic designer and artist. She works in varied mediums such as digital illustration, traditional painting, and collage. Lily holds a Bachelor of Design from Carnegie Mellon University’s School of Design and currently works full-time in branding, while exploring her art practice in her free time. She is currently located in Chicago, IL, though she has lived across the East Coast, South, and Midwest.
