Works from this series are hand cut and assembled with paper and layered within a shadow box frame. The shadow box invites the viewer to peer inside, and each scene contains a window or doorway to another view.

Each piece depicts a place that is meaningful to me- a place I have lived or traveled to. While I usually use paper as the surface for my drawings and watercolors, I have become enamored with the use of paper as the primary medium. I love the tedious nature of working small and paying attention to the tiniest details.
