ARTIST STATEMENT
My work explores the layered nature of identity, resilience, and transformation. Each piece emerges through a dialogue between control and surrender—beauty and chaos—reflecting the complexity of human experience. I build depth through textured mediums, iridescent glazes, and figurative abstraction, creating surfaces that shift with light and invite multiple interpretations over time. Drawing inspiration from the strength and vulnerability of women and the architecture of my home city, Chicago, I seek to translate emotion into form and movement. These works are not static images but living reflections—each layer holding a story of endurance, empathy, and renewal.
