ARTIST STATEMENT
When Roe V. Wade was overturned my heart broke. Taking away the freedoms of so many individuals is unacceptable and frightening. I stand with every person who lost their freedom of autonomy and declare with them that we will not go back! My art is an expression of my fear and anger I felt that day.
ABOUT THE ARTIST
I am creating contemporary modern abstract art fueled by emotion and passion. After being diagnosed with PTSD I found myself pouring my emotions and passion for new life into my art, and what has come out is thought-provoking visual stories of healing and understanding of my journey.
