oooxxxooo is a Web-based poem created in 1996, in the earliest HTML, that combines hypersexual prose and the simplicity of code to guide the viewer through a graphic and nonlinear narrative. This Surrealist journey about apples and sex and dentistry asks, “Would you still love me if the world was my brain?” The reader, being asked for love, becomes empowered.
