As an artist and writer in self-isolation during the 2020 Pandemic I chose to post (and continue to post) one sketch each day on social media sites for “every day until we can be together again”. The series is called #6FeetApart and represents the ups and downs of living life in an entirely different way. Sometimes, funny and sometimes sad, the sketches express the emotions that can overwhelm, make one angry and sometimes laugh. It also expresses my sadness of not being able to be with my family, my friends and students. Certainly this period has made me feel even more creative and anxious to be in the studio to paint and write.
