Judy Cooperman

Judy Cooperman uses color photography to explore diverse notions of “beauty.” Her work has appeared in numerous exhibitions at Woman Made Gallery and at other Midwest venues in Illinois, Michigan, Missouri, and Wisconsin. Cooperman’s work has been shown in New York at A.I.R. Gallery, the National Association of Women Artists Gallery, Pen and Brush, and Ceres Gallery. Her work was published in Art of Survival: Women, Healing, and the Arts (2006) and Reflections Artists Journal Vol. 1 (2005). She received an MFA from Long Island University and a BA from Queens College. Currently, Cooperman teaches at St. John’s University and Nassau Community College.
