ARTIST STATEMENT
My work is a reflection of memory, growth, and the ways we construct identity from childhood. I often think about building a mobile—delicate yet intentional—each piece suspended in time. The mobile holds blocks and pictures of me growing up, fragments of moments that shaped me. A string of pictures lines the wall, filled with childlike drawings, echoes of early creativity. Above and below, the question repeats: What did you learn at school today?—spelled out in letter blocks, surrounded by tiny hand-painted miniatures of myself, each corresponding to a moment on the mobile. Photography, for me, is about assembling these memories, piecing together the visual language of nostalgia. The colors, the textures, the familiar weight of objects from the past—they all come together to tell a story of becoming.
