My work focuses primarily on the human figure. The recurring theme of purity and simplicity on which the figures are based serves to underscore solitude, concentration or a meditative mood. The subject is brought to light through an ambivalent title, unexpected element or incongruous pose.

In addition to the straightforward description of the subject, the attentive eye will discover another layer, implicitly calling for a second viewing that redefines the image and ultimately reveals its true meaning. The aim is to elicit thoughts and questions that go beyond the face value of the figurative representation.
