My lesbian identity colors my perception of the world and the way I express that perspective through visual art. Over my 66 years, I’ve lived many and various cultural identities and roles, some of which were gratifying and others painful, even traumatic. Now in a mental place of peace and mindfulness, I have been able to find gratitude for all that has shaped me and forced me to grow and learn.
