Chicago – Woman Made Gallery is pleased to announce the opening of its new juried group show, The Emotional Body. The exhibition theme yielded an overwhelming response with more than 250 entries from which to choose. Works include painting, sculpture, drawing, photography, installation and mixed media by 35 women.
All the works share in common a portrayal of The Emotional Body, a woman’s journey in search of the boundaries of body, personality, and strength. The works broadly interpret and render “the body” expressively, relying on compositional and figurative dramatizations.
