ABOUT THE ARTIST
Dorothée Zombronner’s work centers on questioning traditional ways of seeing. Themes of physicality and femininity run through her practice, alongside influences from everyday experiences, conversations, and a subtle sense of humor. She often works with familiar, everyday materials, reassembling them from new and unexpected perspectives.
Zombronner graduated from the Muthesius Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Kiel and holds a Master of Arts in Cultural History and Theory from Humboldt University in Berlin. She lives and works in Berlin. She is a member of SALOON Berlin and Intakt – International Action Group of Women Visual Artists.
