These full-figured Goddesses represent the power, serenity, and contentment of women as they move further through the lifespan. Their radiant luster warms the earth.
The spindle legged bowl comes from a recent foray into functional ware, while including a sculptural, whimsical element.

ABOUT THE ARTIST

Dawn Liddicoatt is primarily a sculptor and ceramic artist, her primary medium, clay. Her sculpture is largely figurative, and explores various aspects of the female body, and woman in the context of society. Her ceramics are hand built, usually rough hewn, and evoke a sense of archeological excavation.
Her work has appeared in exhibits throughout Chicago, and is held in numerous private collections.
