The works in “Consumer Culture” address the issues surrounding and resulting from the insidious desire for consumption and the waste products produced by full-filling that need. All work has been created out of 50% recycled or post-consumer goods. The works in this show address the theme of “Consumer Culture” as it relates to environmental and natural resource issues, the financial and cultural impact of consumption, body/social image, and many additional interpretations.
