ARTIST STATEMENT
Art is my resistance and way of processing our dystopian political environment. Each intentional brush stroke releasing feelings of my own sadness and fear. A giant middle finger in bright colors and wild pop culture themes with a heavy dose of tongue-in-cheek humor. In January of 2025, I had a giant blank canvas. In a fit of fury after the election, I slopped some orange paint on it and set about painting Guillotine. I want to chronicle this significant period in our history through the lens of humor and laced with pop culture references of the past and present. It’s my way of saying f*ck you while wearing a shit-eating grin.
ABOUT THE ARTIST
I’m located in Indianapolis, IN and just wrapped up my first gallery show. I’ve always considered myself an artist of many genres, but have been painting since 2023.
