The Fundamental need for respite and safety remains out of reach for many, as small catastrophes and persistent isolation shape their daily lives. For those living through systemic injustice, rest is not relief but endurance – an act of survival rather than calm.
ABOUT THE ARTIST
Beth Lakamp, also knowns and bettsvando, is a St louis Based Artist whose expressionist works in water color and oil capture unguarded moments of human authenticity. Residing in St Louis, she draws inspiration from an extensive collection of photographs exploring social issues like resilience and vulnerability.
