I began painting in an effort to “learn to see.” Landscapes and Mindscapes. Old buildings, nature, tender human moments and excursions into the absurd, all fascinate me.
I work in acrylics. Style varies from representational expression to intuitive flow in an interplay with the subject matter and the emotive qualities that are seeking expression. Evocative and textural often describe my work.
My art is informed by a lifetime of experiences, self-reflection and my work as a therapist.
Exhibitions include one woman show: Short Stories from the Heart: Spaces, Places, Memories and Dreams (August 2019), Ludington Area Center for the Arts.
