ARTIST STATEMENT
My work is about abstract interpretations of memories, dreams and persistent mental imagery. It explores reminiscing and the flow of time through the constantly changing landscape of memories. I aim to turn memories into shapes and bursts of colour in an attempt to save fleeting moments.
ABOUT THE ARTIST
Anda Marcu is an award-winning multidisciplinary artist and writer based in London, Canada. Her portfolio spans global exhibitions, publications, and private collections across North America and Europe. Anda works across visual and verbal forms: painting, film photography, creative writing, and hybrid works that combine image and text.
