Amy Pleasant is a Seattle figurative and abstract painter. Her work is known by its high chroma palette and integration of painterly techniques with fluid line, providing the scaffolding for the exploration of memory and generational transition. Amy has participated in national exhibitions in Chicago, San Francisco, Los Angeles and New York, as well as solo exhibitions in Seattle, Dallas and Amsterdam. Her work has been included in the public collections of hospitals in Seattle and Amsterdam. She is a writer as well, and her poetry can be found on the website.
