My work explores the relationship of modern forms to the human body and attempts to embody the dichotomic relationship between organic and inorganic structures. I contrast geometric shapes and modern architectural elements with organic forms and materials

The origins of the square and line are rooted to mankind. These shapes of our own creation have been the foundation for nearly all man’s inventions despite the fact they seemingly oppose the aesthetics of the natural. They are used to isolate, confine and protect us, causing a feeling of removal from the natural spaces we once inhabited. But are the staples of modern architecture truly in opposition with nature? With a closer look, we see evidence of linear structures in the makeup of all organisms. It seems that our creations may possibly be just a replication of the simplicities of nature
