Gay Riseborough

Gay Riseborough received her BFA at Washington University, St. Louis, MO. She took additional classes at the New York Academy of Art, the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, the Evanston Art Center, at the Alain Gavin Studio, Evanston, and at the Florence Academy of Art, Florence, Italy. She taught art classes at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, at the Evanston Art Center, Evanston, IL, and offers private classes. Her work has been exhibited nationally and her work is in numerous private collections such as California State University, Long Beach, CA; Loyola University Medical Center, Maywood, IL; and Northwestern University Law School, Chicago, IL. Riseborough's many artistic accomplishments include serving as Juror for the Senior Artists Network at the Chicago Cultural Center and for the Museum of Contemporary Art, North Shore Affiliate Studio Tour. She was a visiting artist and guest speaker during Women's History Month at Harper College, Palatine, IL and was a finalist for the Portrait Category at the Annual Art Competition for Artist Magazine.
