My work is inspired by my efforts to reconcile with memories of psychosis and the process of losing contact with reality. The path between clarity and delusion is unmarked and slippage can be unnoticeable. More troubling is the residue of logic that persists throughout the experience otherwise marked by the unfounded, bizarre, and obscene.  I work in two steps, capturing motion and creating motion. Using still images as easily distorted as they may be accurate, and animation with potential to function anywhere between analytical to fantastical I intend to confuse accuracy with distortion, adaptation with delusion. These pieces intend to invoke an, unsustainable perspective and share my pursuit of inherently impossible understanding.
