ARTIST STATEMENT
Memory sees my loving, hard-working Mother (early 1950’s into 2006) who only used the electric dryer in cold weather for clothes and bed sheets. On warm days, she hung these in the fresh air. My piece is sedated: reflecting the emotion of an underneath sadness of a lost loved one (s). I knew her inside and outside. Over my life-time, I experience this same thing. I hold this remembrance as a memorial.
