My experience was being on birth control and still getting pregnant. I miscarried and had to have a D&C to prevent bleeding and infection, which was an emotional rollercoaster. Not having a choice is catastrophic to women’s health. Women carry a heavy burden when forced to justify deeply personal decisions.
