ARTIST STATEMENT
As an artist I take great joy in the process of creating. I’m drawn to images that speak to me, and will hopefully speak to others – I choose images from old magazines that I cut out and combine with other images to create a new image. I try very hard to convey a particular feeling or emotion with the collages I create. Pinched represents ICE showing up on the door step of a frightened woman.
