ARTIST STATEMENT
I am an interdisciplinary artist working with traditional media and technology creating work that intends to inform as a meditation and a mirror of the choices, circumstances and attributes of women.
ABOUT THE ARTIST
Niki Nolin is an Interdisciplinary artist and educator living in Chicago.
Her work blends painting, drawing and poetry with motion, interaction and assemblage. Working solo or collaboratively, her focus is to awaken the viewer to the spaces between words and images; the intuitive gaps and leaps of faith, and the associations of thought-play and choice.
