ARTIST STATEMENT
I am a woman and I am a mother. So I’m interested, naturally, in birth, death, childhood, memory, mythology, and the natural world. These things we know to be feminine, quite mother-y. But it turns out, those things hold meaning for all humans. Does that mean all humans are mothers? No. But mother stuff is human stuff.
