I love working in alternative materials and overcoming the sculptural and construction challenges faced in creating my work.
ABOUT THE ARTIST
Elaine Emmons is Cherokee from Tulsa, OK. Her passion for fiber & color and for finding artistic connections is what most inspires her. Her background in clothing and interiors influences her three-dimensional fiber pieces and her Native roots inform the colorful, sculptural work.
