ARTIST STATEMENT
Motivated by loss and abandonment, I collect everything I’m compelled to, hoarding it until its purpose is revealed to me. I enjoy word play, creating illusions and weaving together dark humor and whimsy. Ideas reemerge over time creating large bodies of work.
When She told me,
The wound was scabbed,
Raw flesh covered by hardness.
When She told me,
It was too late to protect her.
My baby was raped.
