ARTIST STATEMENT

The Conflict Diary is intended to process strife during a pandemic. It explores disputes within a highly charged political and cultural environment, and reflects on domestic frictions. The diary documents conflicts and musings about these struggles as well as methods of coping. This series began as the artist sheltered within a teeny New York City apartment, and it continues as the virus and polemics ebb and flow.
