My paintings are depictions of the uncertainty within myself and my surroundings during the summer of 2020. After graduating into the limbo of life in quarantine I began work at a greenhouse and nursery. I was unsure if I would remember the blue skies or yellow butterflies during the time that life took this ominous pause. Using light layers of oil color, I meditate on a mood as well as focus on the rendering to freeze time.
