I create art that tells a story. “Hello in There” is a 2020 story of family and different types of loss. Separated from his elderly mother due to Covid-19, a senior son visits through a window. Not only are they physically separated, but the mother is a victim of Alzheimer’s. She clutches a baby doll for comfort, perhaps remembering her past as a young mother, but may not remember her own son.
