Laura Lynne
I am best known for creating boldly colored and whimsically designed mixed media art and murals. The immersion in nature I had growing up in Wisconsin, yoga, fairy tales, mythology, and song lyrics are some of the themes in my work. The materials I use for the mixed media artworks are archival papers, painted papers, tissue paper, found papers, and my photographs. All of the paper is hand cut with a scissors, X-Acto, or hole punch. It is very important to me that art be accessible and affordable to all people so I create archival reproductions available on my website.
