Making paintings, for me, during this time of anxiety and sadness has been out of reach. Until I put my disjointed and persistent visual ideas about this new life of distancing on paper I was stuck and doing nothing. Finally I decided I could make a painting about the reality of this new way of being. This the painting: “Six Feet Apart”
