Dear Earth,

There is so much that I love about you, but I especially love your trees. We lost all of our trees on the mountain to a forest fire, but we are patient and will joyfully wait and watch as your trees return. Even in the blackness after the fire you were still beautiful. Suddenly there were grasses and wildflowers in abundance to help us to heal. Thank you.
