In this work, I have used graphite and ashes as elements suspended in solution, applied to layered beeswax. Intense heat and light create patterns of melting and flow, responding to laws of flow, chaos, and geology. I am concerned with natures processes, creation and destruction; fragility of impermanence, decay and preservation, loss and memory.
