This work is from a series depicting the pressures that social standards place upon the individual. The abnormalities of the individual are represented by the torn images that have undergone reconstructions in an attempt to achieve a sense of normalcy. These reconstructions form a mask for an individual which serves to remove the constraints of society specific gender roles.
