Each item that I make is unique. I collect branches, seaweed, bark, grasses, leaves, and other natural materials, weaving with the Japanese belief that plants have spirits that are passed on through the finished product.

I attempt to weave a blend of textures, scents, and colors, so people will pick up one of my creations and appreciate their origins. Hopefully someone will be offered a momentary escape from everyday life with this re-connection with nature.
