My name is Jia I was born and grew up in Beijing, China. I think signs of time on people and things are important. I enjoy things that are left behind and leaving things behind. Never by accident. I dislike sentimental objects, unless its a memory or a song to play in my head.

The paper airplane was one of my earliest objects of fascination. This interest in white copy paper and forms it will take throughout its life, starting at around two years old, will probably last long into the future. I still don’t yet understand the nature of paper.
