In my mixed media figurative sculptures, I incorporate a variety of materials and hands-on constructions. Without limitation, I find that the combination of disparate juxtapositions — such as rough concrete and soft fur, or skin-like leather and hard ceramic — invite a tactile exploration by the viewer.

Each character portrays something we already know instinctively, and that reinforces our understanding of the human condition in some primal unforgettable way that is simultaneously comical and frightening, and yet elegant and dignified.
