Fascinated by the mundane, I collect and explore ordinary, everyday objects from my environment. This fascination follows me wherever I go, continuously initiating my awareness of the objects surrounding me. Receipts from cashiers and discarded pieces of plastic in the street each contain their own histories and become strangers’ generous contributions to my work. Assembling these pieces allows me to combine strangers’ stories with my own, linking myself to these narratives and ultimately creating an object with a new history.
