I am inspired by mystery, things I can’t easily define, things that don’t make sense to me. In my work I am exploring loss, fragility and the desire to hold the temporal.

I always loved sculpture because of all the arts, it lends so much weight and and dimension to the elusory. For me, making sculpture is like trying to create tangible proof of the spirit, trying to see through the veil between our terrestrial lives and our spirits. I want to create a little hole between these worlds. I hope to allow both sides, flaws and transcendence, to exist together.
