Ruth Aizuss Migdal

My sculpture stands as an icon for and about women.

My work is an examination and celebration of women. Their power, strength, and beauty has been my subject since 1971, first in clay and now in bronze and steel.

This is very personal work that defies current fashions that come and go. In a sense, it reflects my struggles to survive as a female artist in a male dominated culture.
