Join us for an engaging conversation with the jurors, Monica J. Brown and Donna Jackson, and selected artists: Ragni Agarwal, Jusun Jessie Seo, Candace “Chlee” Hunter, and Sequoya Hayes.

The Better Half: Female Counterparts to Famous Male Artists
Wednesday, August 14, 2024 | 6-7 PM
Join art history buff and WMG Marketing & Development Coordinator, Veronica Clements as she gives a presentation on women throughout history who were overlooked because of the men in their life. From downright stealing ideas and works of art to silencing and diminishing their acclaim, the men in these women’s lives did everything possible to tarnish their artistry. ‘The Better Half’ will highlight these women and shed light on their influence in hopes that we may never overlook them again.
