DESCRIPTION:This mixed media workshop is inspired by the works of Ruth Asawa. There will be opportunities to paint\, draw\, and work with fiber and wire. Drawing from life and nature\, we’ll engage in meditative art practices to create abstract forms. While known best as a sculptor\, Asawa’s use of line (in space and on paper) teaches us about the nature of materials themselves.\n\n\nThis class is led by Bekah Baker\, Woman Made’s Gallery Assistant.
