My art practice began with a strict focus on painting as a method of examining my emotional turmoil and childhood memories. It slowly evolved to the inclusion of other disciplines such as photography and sculpture in order to portray those mental health issues and eventually to the exploitation of people’s voyeuristic tendencies. I drew inspiration from the act of observing other peoples’ lives, and the humans’ innate need to see because it felt similar to how I view my own emotions and their attachment to memories.
